Nebraska's cash assistance program, Aid to Dependent Children (ADC), is delivered through 35 offices located across 31 cities, staffed by the Department of Health and Human Services' local economic assistance offices. The state does not publish a single statewide income ceiling for ADC on its public site — eligibility and grant size are calculated case by case, based on household income, size, and allowable deductions, once an application is submitted through iServe Nebraska. Approved households receive their monthly ADC payment loaded onto a ReliaCard, the prepaid Visa debit card Nebraska DHHS uses for most of its cash benefit programs, rather than a paper check. Anyone unsure whether their income falls within Nebraska's current limits can call or visit one of the offices listed here rather than guess based on figures from another state.
